About Us

Our Story
My interest in signmaking started not long after high school, when I went to work for a small sign shop and had the opportunity to learn nearly every part of the trade. I quickly discovered that signmaking brings together an incredible range of skills—from graphic design, woodworking and electrical work to hand lettering, carving and gold leaf. A good sign has to do more than look good. It has to communicate, function, and stand the test of time.
Years later, my wife Kelly and I found our way back to that kind of hands-on creative work. In 2016, we started Hicks Graphics Co. with a small sandblasting cabinet, a laptop, and a case of RTIC tumblers we bought simply to see if we could sell them. We etched the tumblers, sold the entire case, bought more, and began experimenting with etched glassware. What started as a small side project quickly grew through word of mouth and a Facebook page where we could share our work.
Over time, that little business evolved far beyond etched glass. Drawing on my background in signmaking we expanded into custom signs, storefront graphics, vehicle graphics, dimensional and routed signs, laser-cut metal signage, custom metal tags, vinyl graphics, and graphic design.
Today, Hicks Graphics Co. is still a family business. Kelly and I both work full-time jobs while running Hicks Graphics in the evenings and on weekends. We enjoy working directly with people, understanding what they're trying to accomplish, and turning an idea into something real.
Our goal is simple: continue growing Hicks Graphics Co. into the business we've always wanted to build—one based on craftsmanship, creativity, personal service, and work we're proud to put our name on.
